Privacy Policy
AutoPicLoop (“we”, “our”) provides a fullscreen photo slideshow for local images, offered through this website and the AutoPicLoop Chrome extension. This policy describes what information is processed when you use those products.
Photos and slideshow content
Your images are loaded and displayed on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers for storage or processing. Image data stays in your browser session unless you save it elsewhere yourself.
Website: optional background music (YouTube)
On the website, you may optionally paste a YouTube link for background audio during a slideshow. If you do, your browser loads content from YouTube (Google) under their terms and privacy practices. We do not receive your photo files through that feature.
Chrome extension
- The extension opens the slideshow in a new browser tab when you use the toolbar action. Slideshow configuration and photos run locally in that tab.
- The extension build does not expose optional YouTube background music in its UI; background music is available on the website.
- A small amount of setup data (for example slide duration and image fit preference) may be stored in your browser’s local storage on your device so preferences persist between visits. This does not include your image files.
Analytics (website)
This site may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic and reliability. If Google Analytics is configured, it may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google’s policies. The extension tab does not load this website’s analytics scripts as part of the slideshow UI.
Accounts and children
AutoPicLoop does not require an account to use the slideshow. The product is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when our practices or the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the revision.
